Capital Status provides financial operations, bookkeeping and business financial analysis services. What we publish is intended to help founders understand how a business operates financially, the decisions available to them and the systems that support those decisions. There is an important difference between information written for a general audience and advice given after reviewing the circumstances of a particular business.
General information
Content published on this website and in our guides, emails, social media and other public resources is general in nature. It has been prepared without considering your financial position, business structure, circumstances or objectives. We take care in preparing it, but information changes and may not apply to every business. Nothing published here replaces professional advice suited to your circumstances.
Our services and professional boundaries
Capital Status provides bookkeeping, financial operations support and business financial analysis. Capital Status is not independently registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a tax agent or BAS agent, and does not independently provide regulated tax agent or BAS services.
Where regulated tax agent or BAS services are required, they are provided by an appropriately registered tax practitioner under the applicable engagement and supervision arrangements. The responsibilities of each provider are set out in those arrangements. Nothing on this website should be read as individual tax advice or as a representation that Capital Status holds a registration it does not hold.
Financial product advice
Capital Status does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence. Our services are not financial product advice, and nothing on this website is a recommendation to acquire, dispose of or hold any financial product. Where licensed financial advice is needed, please speak with an appropriately authorised professional.
Our calculators
The Dream Life Budget, Margin and Markup, Price for Profit and Offer Comparison calculators are general planning tools. Their results are estimates based only on the figures and assumptions you enter. They don't verify those figures or account for every commercial, financial, tax or operational consideration relevant to your business. Treat the results as a starting point for further analysis, not a definitive recommendation or prediction.

We sometimes share examples of work completed with clients and what was found or achieved. These are intended to show the nature of our work. Examples are de-identified to protect client confidentiality, and each reflects the particular circumstances, information and work involved in that engagement.
